How to get your PayPal Client ID and Secret

Connect your PayPal business account.

Open PayPal: live apps (opens in a new tab) Sandbox apps (testing) (opens in a new tab)

These are the same steps you see beside the settings in your shop's back office.

  1. Press Open PayPal: live apps and sign in with your PayPal business account. For testing, use Sandbox apps instead.
  2. Press Create App. Name it Stallkeep, type Merchant, then Create App.
  3. Copy the Client ID into Client ID below.
  4. Under Secret key 1, press the eye or Show, copy it and paste it into Secret.
  5. Set Account type to match (Live or Sandbox), tick Let customers pay with PayPal and press Save.
