How to connect Google Search Console

Connect Google Search Console to see the searches your shop shows up for.

5 steps · Last checked 11 October 2026

What to open

Each button opens the right page on the other company's site in a new tab, so you can keep these steps open beside it.

Steps

These are the same steps you see beside the settings in your shop's back office.

  1. Your shop's site must already be in Search Console. If it isn't, follow "How to get your Google verification tag" first.
  2. In your shop's back office, open Settings › Google and press Connect Google Search Console.
  3. Sign in with the Google account that has your shop's site in Search Console. Google shows what Stallkeep asks for: your email address, and to view Search Console data for your verified sites. Tick that box and press Continue.
  4. Back in Stallkeep, choose which Search Console site is this shop and press Save.
  5. Open Reports › Google search performance to see the searches your shop shows up for, with clicks, impressions and average position. On a product, SEO suggestions uses them to suggest clearer wording for you to approve.

Where it goes in Stallkeep

In your shop's back office the same steps sit beside the boxes you fill in. This is a made-up demo shop.

Settings, Google in a made-up demo shop: the steps for the Google verification tag sit beside the box to paste it in, with the other Google tools listed at the side.

Good to know

Stallkeep's access is read-only: it can't add, remove or change anything in your Google account. To disconnect, open Settings › Google and press Disconnect: we delete the access token and tell Google to remove our access. You can also remove Stallkeep in your Google Account, under Security › Your connections to third-party apps and services.
